**Job Summary:**
As an Asset Recovery Specialist at Eagle Community Credit Union, you will be responsible for managing the recovery process of delinquent loans and repossessed assets to mitigate financial losses. You will work on recovering various assets such as vehicles, real estate, and collateral while upholding positive member relationships and complying with regulatory guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the recovery process for delinquent loans and repossessed assets.
- Develop and implement collections strategies to enhance recovery rates.
- Negotiate repayment plans with members and communicate the consequences of non-payment.
- Maintain open communication with members and enforce loan agreements.
- Document collection activities and generate reports to track recovery progress.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline recovery processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend process improvements.
**Qualifications:**
- 2 years of experience in asset recovery, collections, or related financial services.

- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.

- Strong research and skip-tracing abilities.

- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in debt collection.
**Work Environment:**
- Primarily indoor office work with quiet to moderate noise levels.
- Occasional work outside the office and local travel required.
- Position may entail working Saturdays.
**Physical Demands:**
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Close vision required.
- Regular talking or hearing.
- Regular standing, walking, sitting, and computer use.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
**Pay Range:** $24.00-27.00 per hour
**Location:** Foothill Ranch, CA 92610, possibly hybrid
